President Obama will be in Portsmouth, NH this afternoon to hold a kabuki theater town hall meeting on health care. While he conducts his contrived Q&A inside the high school, huge protests are planned for those who will be shut out of the event. The NH Republican Volunteer Coalition and the Tea Party Coalition are encouraging people to show up to let their voices be heard:
“There will be news media from all over the world at this event and it will be the ideal opportunity for us to tell the rest of the country exactly how N.H. voters feel about Obamacare (taxed/rationed healthcare). It will be the most important pro-liberty event of the year in N.H. and it is critically important that every one of us attend,’’ the coalition said in a call-to-arms invitation obtained by NBC News.
The AFL-CIO is sending in the pinky rings:
The AFL-CIO, which supports the Democratic healthcare bills, plans a counter-protest outside the town hall. “New Hampshire workers desperately need major healthcare reform and we will not let our voices be silenced by the corporate-funded mobs on the other side,’’ state AFL-CIO president Mark MacKenzie said in a statement.
It should be quite a scene and I am going to do everything in my power to be there and will be sure to take plenty of photos.
