Ground Zero Mosque Imam Says U.S. Is Worse Than Al-Qaeda

First, he says the U.S. is an accessory to 9/11, then he refuses to call Hamas a terrorist organization and now this:

New audio has surfaced of the imam behind the controversial mosque near Ground Zero allegedly telling an audience overseas that the United States has been far more deadly than al-Qaeda. “We tend to forget, in the West, that the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al-Qaeda has on its hands of innocent non Muslims,” Feisal Abdul Rauf said at a 2005 lecture sponsored by the University of South Australia.

This is what passes as a moderate in the left’s warped world.

Israel Tuesday lambasted McKinney — the Green Party’s 2008 candidate for the U.S. presidency and a former Democratic congresswoman from Georgia — for taking part in the maritime mission.

In a written statement, the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast, based in Atlanta, Georgia, said McKinney “has taken it upon herself to commit an act of provocation,” endangering herself and the crew.

“We regret that during this time of crisis, while Israel is battling with the terrorist organization of Hamas and defending its citizens, that we are forced to deal with Ms. McKinney’s irresponsible behavior,” the statement read.

The trip was the Free Gaza Solidarity Movement’s sixth in as many months.

Controversial Boston mosque opens today

After years of accusations of terror links and lawsuits, the mosque formerly known as the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center opens today.  After the 2002 groundbreaking, the mosque came under fire for its sweetheart land deal and ties to terrorist sympathizers and terrorist groups.

Daniel Pipes has a detailed time line of the mosque’s controversial history.

In 2002, the Boston Redevelopment Authority, sold the 1.9-acre lot to the Islamic Society of Boston for a mere $175,000.

One year later, the Boston Herald ran a two-part investigative series on the planned mosque and its ties to terrorist groups and sympathizers. The Herald revealed the Islamic Society of Boston’s ties to following individuals:  (credit Pipes)

  • Yusuf Abdullah al-Qaradawi, the Egyptian Islamist whose outspoken backing for Hamas led the Department of State to bar him from entering the United States in 1999
  • Osama M. Kandil, the Islamic Society of Boston’s leader for over a decade. Turns out that in addition being a former instructor at Harvard Medical School and the founder and chairman of an Egyptian pharmaceutical company, Biopharm Group, he is also associated with the notorious Safa group of Saudi businesses and “charities” headquartered outside Washington, D.C. and was a founding director of the Muslim Arab Youth Association, one of the most radical Islamist organizations in the United States.

The Herald expose was only the beginning.  Read the time line and be prepared to be outraged.

Jimmy Carter wants Obama to remove Hamas from terror list

Advice from the worst president ever to his strongest competition for the coveted title yet.

Former President Jimmy Carter will urge the Obama administration to remove Hamas from the terrorist list, FOX News has learned.

Carter, a chief defender of the U.S.-designated terror group, said he will meet with officials in the Obama administration in two days to discuss his latest trip to the Middle East.

Carter said he feels personally responsible that American weapons were used to fight in Gaza Strip last year, when Israeli Defense Forces entered the strip to stop the launch of rockets from there into Israel
